Resistance
A coil's electrical resistance limits current flow at a given voltage and is measured in ohms. It changes with material, geometry and temperature; regulated devices measure it to control power delivery and protective functions.

Resistance is a measured or characteristic value, so it describes not an object but a property that can be compared.
