Draw resistance
Draw resistance is the pressure difference or effort needed to pull air through a device. It results from inlet size, channels, coil chamber and mouthpiece, with designs ranging from tight MTL to open DTL.

Classification
Draw resistance describes part of the airflow path – the route incoming air takes from the intake to the mouthpiece. The cross-section, position and adjustability of that route noticeably change draw resistance and aerosol temperature. Practical relevance
