O-ring
An O-ring is a circular elastomer seal used between tank sections, glass, top cap or drip tip to contain liquid and air. Cross-section, material and size must match; pinched, hardened or torn rings can cause leaks.

O-ring stands for a mechanical or electrical interface between two assemblies. Thread size, contact geometry, spring travel and tolerances decide whether current and liquid are transferred cleanly.
